My lovely flatmate is buying a house so a double room will become available in my sunny, airy, third floor flat in Meadowbank to move in from 1st July.
Location: The flat is a 5 minute walk to the Meadowbank retail park with a massive Sainsbury’s and a Lidl, lots of great bus links to the city, and it’s an easy 20-30 min walk to the city too. You’re also within walking distance of Holyrood Park, Meadowbank sport centre and Easter Road.
About the Room: The bedroom is light but cosy. It comes with a comfortable bed, built in storage space. Shared Spaces: The Kitchen/Living room is bright and spacious with great light and views of Arthurs Seat. Kitchen has plenty of storage space with a gas hob and oven and a large fridge/freezer. It opens onto a small balcony that gets summer sun. There is also a communal patio area shared by the building.

About Me: You will be living with me, a friendly and creative museum professional. I love cooking, arts and creativity and having interesting conversations with interesting people. I also like spending time by myself and out exploring. I enjoy being out of the flat but also having friends over for dinner. I work part time in the office and part time at home and happy to have a fellow part time wfh-er. There is room in both the bedrooms and the main living area for desks.
About You: I'm looking for a tidy and respectful like-minded flatmate who is happy to share space and socialise but equally happy to do their own thing. I believe in open communication and respect for each other's space, creating a harmonious atmosphere that feels like home.
Rent & Terms: Rent is £522.50 month, which with bills and council tax works out around £700 per month (Council Tax band E)
The flat is let via a private letting agent so credit checks and references will be required along with a deposit of £575. This is a non-smoking and currently pet-free environment.
